oh wow that is a great idea! there are all kinds of small business/women-owned business grants out there. I double-dog dare you to come up with a business plan. It could be a combination yarn shop, tea shop with classic literature... I volunteer to do your website.
Ooh - knit shop, lit shop, lit shop - with children's knitting classes, too. I think it's the perfect fit for you.
