The Blogging Life

I’ve thought long and hard about writing a blog. It’s a difficult choice. I know that, as my friend Jennifer says, you can become a slave to your blog. What it is for me, essentially, is that I am a very private person. Some people may not agree with this, but I beg to differ, because only I know what I keep hidden. And I think it is a fear of exposing what must remain hidden that has caused me to wait so long to write a blog. It does appear that the longer you blog the more likely you are to allow others into your life. Granted, blogs do become gathering of friends, but it’s easy to forget that the entire world can google you and find out about your life. So perhaps I’m a cynic – but someone said that cynics are frustrated idealists, or something along those lines, so may-be that’s what I am. Perhaps we’ll find out – in bloggin’ time. But what prompted me to take the step was seeing what great fun Kat has with her blog. And I think that blogging is a great way to stay in touch with friends, because if you want to find out what they’re up to you can always stop in at their blog and see what’s new. So now I’m here – setting up residence in the blogsphere. Stop in and say hello!

Hello!

Welcome to the world of blogging. I am on the edge of my chair waiting to see what you come up with, I can't wait. :)
