Daughter number two (who is seven) and I are watching a childhood favorite of mine, Free to Be You and Me and on come two singers. She asks, "Who is that?" I answer, "That's Roberta Flack and Michael Jackson." She exclaims, "Michael Jackson was black when he was little?!?!"
Yes dear, he was.
