To Heat, or not to heat, that is the question

For the record, we still haven't turned on the heat yet.
And man, is it getting cold.
I was in bed last night at about 7:00.
Okay, 6:30.
We have little electric heaters in the bedrooms, but it is not enough right now.
I'll turn it on soon.
Especially when you wake up to this:
Cloudy
25°F
Feels Like
25°F

Oh but wait, maybe we can hold off, because next week it will be back in the 40s!
Let me rethink this heat thing....

My blood still remains thin even though I have been back in Houston for 3 years. It is beautiful here: highs in the 60s/70s and lows in the 50s. BUT people are wearing coats and scarves! We have been laughing at them.

Here in Virginia Beach, I have had the heat on and off for the better part of the past two weeks.

You are made from heartier stock than men, that is for sure. ;)

OK - but what about the water pipes freezing? Stay warm. Knit some hats for everyone to sleep in. And some wool socks too. Maybe some wool long johns while you're at it.

Sending warm thoughts.
