We went to a luncheon with some of our cousins the other day.
It's basically the descendants of my grandmother and her brother and sister.
They are dead of course, but I have a lot of old relatives.
And really, I mean old, not elderly.
During the luncheon we celebrated the 100th birthday of one my cousins (2nd cousin, actually).
Before the luncheon started I went over to say hello to my Uncle John.
Me: Hi Uncle John.
UJ: Hi.
Me: How are you?
UJ: You look more and more like your mother every day.
Me: (Laughing uncomfortably) Well, I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
UJ: You have the same smile...
Me: (Still laughing and trying to rapidly think of some smart ass remark)
UJ: ...except you're bigger.
I know he's my mother's brother and he's 94, but seriously...I'm hoping he means that I'm taller.

Ouch!
you know i would've been decked him. but that's just cause i don't care :D
Just because they are past a certain age doesn't mean they can forget their manners. Don't punch him though, unless you are in his will.
